Part Code: S60/58973The Calvet DC Alexsys calorimeter provides accurate heat and heat-capacity measurement at high temperature using the drop calorimetry method: a sample at room temperature is dropped into the 3D thermocouple sensor maintained at up to 800 or 1000 °C.
Dedicated drop tubes for sample and reference, along with specific protection and inerting options, keep sample reactivity with the atmosphere and instrument carefully controlled. It is particularly valuable for studying the thermodynamic stability of metals, alloys, ceramics and minerals, and for establishing phase diagrams.
